FrogStreet Curriculum

Infant

Designed around early brain research, the Frog Street Infant curriculum equips caregivers to foster essential growth and build a strong learning foundation for little ones ages 0-18 months.

Toddler

Designed around the latest scientific early brain development research, Frog Street’s Toddler curriculum is a year-round program for children ages 18-36 months that focuses on enhancing the simple joy of childhood while equipping caregivers to nurture curiosity through exploration.

Pre-K 3

Frog Street Threes is a preschool curriculum that meets the unique needs of three-year-olds and provides intentional instruction in key areas of development. At Frog Street, we know that three-year-olds are special! They are transitioning from parallel play to interactive play, and their language capacity is blossoming. They are becoming more mobile and learning to show genuine affection and concern for their peers. Our curriculum for 3-year-olds allows children ages 36-48 months to continue on the path to kindergarten readiness.

Pre-K Excel

The Excel Pre-K curriculum sets children on a path to success through engaging read-alouds, math and science explorations, playful music and movement, and hands-on learning centers.

Experience Learning Curriculum

EXPERIENCE BABY INFANT CURRICULUM SUPPORTS
RELATIONSHIP-BASED PLAY & DISCOVERY

-Nurture warm and caring emotional connections with the child that build trust and security.
-Offer play opportunities that invite children to engage,
explore and discover their environment through everyday routines.
-Partner with families and share reflections on each child’s unique development.

Toddler

The Experience Curriculum family applies child development theories and brain research to a unique model of teacher support, child experience and family engagement.

Children construct knowledge by exploring their environment. They collect information and learn about the topic through hands-on discovery and investigation.
Throughout the day, children participating in Mother Goose Time curriculum are exposed to books, play-based activities, and materials that reinforce the topic of the day.

Children learn through sensory experiences and the integration of concepts in play.
Mother Goose Time uses “Small Group” activities to introduce children to materials that integrate new math and literacy concepts. The teacher models the use of the materials and then supports children as they play according to their developmental level.

Preschool

A daily routine will create
an environment in which children can experience a variety of planned
and unplanned (yet intentional) activities. Children thrive under a
balance of active and quiet times. We offer children a variety of learning experiences that include individual, small and large group settings.
Within each of these settings, children are invited to explore each activity.
Experience Preschool activities offer approximately three hours of
intended instruction each day.

Assessment

We believe young children construct knowledge through interactive, concrete and hands-on experiences. Likewise, assessment of young children should be play-based and observed in the natural flow of the day.

Assessment makes learning visible through documentation. Experience Early Learning Curriculum utilizes developmental benchmark tracking to chart learning over time.

A child’s portfolio helps us see each child’s emerging interests, learning styles and developmental level. By revisiting the portfolio, we can consider ways to adapt the lesson plans to better connect to the child’s goals and needs.
